]]> We are excited to announce that Folk Potter, Mike Craven, will be a part of our artist market at WestFest in October (2012).  The Craven family tradition in folk pottery can be traced back nine generations to England 1730.  The family settled in North Georgia in the early 19th century  Mike’s work is on permanent display at the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia in Sautee/Nacoochee.  During WestFest he will be demonstrating his art/craft on his handmade kick wheel (human powered potter’s wheel).
